How do I check my balance?
You can easily check your card balance using the following methods:
- By logging into the Birbank mobile app;
- By activating the SMS-Banking service;
- Via Kapital Bank ATMs;
- By calling the Contact Center at 196 from your registered number and selecting the relevant menu options.

Why is my card account in negative balance?
Even if funds are available, sometimes the payment amount is not deducted immediately and a negative balance may appear after confirmation. This can happen in the following cases:
- If you have an outstanding loan;
- If you exceed your withdrawal or transfer limit;
- Due to exchange rate differences in foreign currency transactions;
- If refunded funds were already spent;
- Based on product terms (e.g., insufficient balance during card service usage).
