Kapital Bank signed a new memorandum with UNEC

Kapital Bank, attaching great importance to educational projects, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) in 2016. Within the framework of the memorandum, many projects were implemented during these years. A new memorandum was signed with the university on June 24, 2023 for further cooperation.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer of Kapital Bank Farid Huseynov, the rector of UNEC professor Adalat Muradov, as well as employees of the university and the bank. After voicing proposals for new directions of cooperation between Kapital Bank and UNEC, the parties signed the document.

The Chairman of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer of Kapital Bank Farid Huseynov stated that it was a great honor for him to be a partner of the university where he received his education as a bachelor, master and dissertation student. F. Huseynov noted that out of 5,026 Kapital Bank employees, about 1,500 are UNEC graduates, 142 of them work in managerial positions.

Rector Adalyat Muradov spoke about the long-standing close cooperation of UNEC with Kapital Bank and the implemented joint projects. Speaking about the necessity of new approaches in interaction with the real sector, A. Muradov emphasized the importance of conducting practical classes in specialties that form students' knowledge and skills.

At the end of the event, UNEC rector Adalat Muradov added that Farid Huseynov is one of the most worthy graduates of UNEC, and presented him with an “Honorary Graduate” plaque and a “Graduate Card”.
