The Human Capital Academy of Kapital Bank and the Bosphorus University in Turkey, which is one of the most prestigious universities in the world, implements the unique project. The mini-MBA leadership development program called “Management Excellence” is aimed at strengthening the bank's human resources potential.

The closing ceremony of the program — “Graduation day” was held in Istanbul on July 9, 2021. Opening the event with an introductory speech, Chairman of the Board at Kapital Bank Rovshan Allahverdiyev spoke about the importance of the program and stressed that investment in employee training is one of the priorities for the bank.

The Rector of the Bosphorus University, Professor Melih Bulu emphasized the mutual benefit of cooperation between the two organizations and called this cooperation an example of brotherhood between the two countries. The “Graduation day” ended with the presentation of diplomas to the participants and an unofficial part held at the university.

Information about the “Graduation day” is also published on the website of the university — https://haberler.boun.edu.tr/tr/haber/yonetimde-mukemmeliyet-programi-mezunlarini-verdi.

Fargana Mammadova, Head of Human Resources Management Department at Kapital Bank, commented: “This is the second time when, within the framework of cooperation with the Bosphorus University, 20 bank employees, occupying various management positions, have been trained for 7 months by the university faculty and experienced bank experts. Due to the pandemic that swept the whole world in 2020, part of the classes were held online. Despite the fact that such learning experiences are relatively new both for the university and for us, we were completely satisfied with the progress and results of the educational process. The participants successfully passed the exams and prepared a research project at the end. I am strongly sure that knowledge gained will make a positive contribution to the everyday working life of our employees.”

It should be noted that this project was first implemented in 2019. It was attended by 18 employees of Kapital Bank working in various managerial positions.
