On April 11, 2022, at the initiative of the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR), a tree planting campaign was held. As part of the initiative, various trees were planted with the participation of employees of the country's banks on a 51-hectare territory located in the Mushvigabad settlement of Baku.

The event was attended by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, ABA President Zakir Nuriyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kapital Bank Yashar Mammadov, bank employees and other officials. On the territory where new trees were planted, a drip irrigation system was also installed within the framework of the campaign.

The event was held in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed between the Azerbaijan Banks Association and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources to support measures to create a high-quality ecological environment in the country.

It should be noted that Kapital Bank supports various tree planting initiatives across the country in line with its corporate social responsibility strategy. Last year, the bank took part in the Zəfərdən Dirçəlişə (From Victory to Revival) campaign organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Karabakh Revival Fund in the liberated Zangilan district.
