The Red Hearts Foundation recently launched an undergraduate scholarship program to support talented young people from low-income families. An event was held to reward the winners of the scholarship. The ceremony was attended by the head of the Presidential Administration's Department for Work with NGOs and Communications Vusal Guliyev, the President of the Red Hearts Foundation Sevda Hagverdiyeva, the Director of the Baku Information and Education Center Gunay Masimova and other guests.

15 students selected within the framework of the program will receive a monthly scholarship of 150 manats. The Foundation will also cover academic debt and tuition fees of 11 students. The program is implemented through donations from local and foreign donors.

The purpose of the Red Hearts Scholarship Program is to support gifted and promising students while providing them with opportunities for professional and personal development. The program involves students from low-income families who study on a paid and free basis. The selection of participants was carried out on the basis of entrance scores and academic performance.

“We believe that everyone we help with the education will change the future of our country and even the world and make our lives better. The program winners will also be able to join extra trainings and courses that will help young people to further develop their knowledge and skills. We must not forget that investing in education is investing in the future,” explains Sevda Hagverdiyeva, President of the Red Hearts Foundation.

It should be noted that supporting the education of students from underprivileged backgrounds, contributing to the education of gifted youth, as well as caring for and promoting the development of the future generation are among the activities of the Red Hearts Foundation. Last year, the fund also paid tuition fees for students who suspended their studies to participate in the Second Karabakh War.
